“Clouds come floating into my life- no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.” – Rabindranath Tagore
Spotting Trisha’s jewelry on a weekend getaway to the charming enclave of San Luis Capistrano, was the beginning of a fabulous collaboration with a kindred spirit. As a fashion blogger, weekends are an opportunity to venture out and find wonderful backgrounds for photo shoots. One particularly beautiful weekend this spring was spent in the town of San Juan Capistrano, home to what is known as the “Jewel of the Mission.”
Checking out the town of San Juan Capistrano, I couldn’t resist strolling into the darling boutiques. After a full day of shooting, this fashion blogger needed a shopping fix and couldn’t resist popping into the local boho boutique calling out to my very boho side. Instantly drawn to a gorgeous necklace with a raw turquoise pendant and glittering diamonds, I couldn’t leave the boutique without this latest addition to my natural gemstone collection. I snapped up this beauty and proceeded to reach out to Trish with a DM on Instagram. Trish quickly responded and soon enough we were on the phone connecting like two long lost friends.
Trish is a beautiful soul, a fabulous jewelry designer and a woman devoted to her family and her craft. Having gotten to know Trish personally, we could spend hours on the phone chatting as we are both creatives and love the inspiration as well as the creative process. Hanging out with her at her lovely home in Laguna Niguel, surrounded by her four boys and a devoted surfer husband, is a bit like reconnecting with an old friend. It’s so easy to bond with Trish and fall in love with her warm and friendly South Cal vibe.
I can usually be found around town in one of Trisha’s gorgeous designs. While wearing one of my favorite necklaces the other day, I was asked if she could make a necklace like it with a custom horse pendant. I reached out to Trish and within moments, she was sending me photos of custom pendants that could be created. You have to love a designer that’s so inspired by her craft. Trish and I love working together and would be honored to design a piece inspired by YOU! We will be hosting trunk shows together in the Los Angeles area. If you’re in the area, we would love to meet and to create a piece that’s unique to you. If you would like to order a piece of Trish’s jewelry, fill out the contact form and I’ll get right back to you. I look forward to hearing from you and working with Trish to create the perfect design for you.
Showing the design that caught my eye in San Juan Capistrano. With a fabulous raw turquoise pendant and diamonds, this piece is incredibly special. Turquoise is known as a master healing, bringing calmness and stability. It is also a stone of protection and has been known to lift negativity. This stones brings peace and harmony.
This is one of my favorite pieces. I collect Buddahs and this one is so special. It’s a vintage amulet with a diamond drop. The beads are very unusual with semi-precious yellow stone jasper. Yellow stone jasper is known as a stone of protection that also assists in lifting your mood.
A one of a kind vintage pendant from Trish’s collection. This handcrafted beauty is fabulous for day or evening. I’ve paired it with a simple tank from Michael Stars and skinnies from Genetic Denim. Throwing on a casual scarf frames the necklace and adds a bit of interest to the outfit. There’s a piece in her collection that’s perfect for just about every occasion.
I adore this pendant with a bit of the mala vibe. The beautiful feather is carved from bone with a diamond detail. This seems to go with everything and brings compliments galore when I step out in it.
