With my pandemic move from LA to the beach in Seattle, I find myself relishing the long summer days and living in beachwear. So I decided to try on some of my favorite styles in the bikini arena! If you’re not into bikinis, don’t worry as Brindle has you covered in everything from tankinis and one pieces to fabulous cover ups. They actually have you covered in everything from swimwear to a night on the town and everything in between!

It’s funny, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve become far bolder in showing some skin. When I was younger, my body and skin were far more perfect but my mind needed some work in the confidence arena. There’s nothing like a life threatening illness and a near death experience to wake you up! And, to help you realize what’s important in life! Thankfully, I’m awake and I’m alive. And at 62, I have no qualms about my tummy scars … they’re me! I’m also happily living IN the Puget Sound on a daily basis, soaking up the sun and basking in cold water plunges. Who knew how addictive icy cold water could be? Ironically, the chilly 47 degree water fires up my spirit and my energy.

I have been in need of some new swimwear and Brindle Boutique more than delivered. My top selects include this Hot Pink Tropical Bikini Set that is super figure flattering. I love that its bottom is generous to fully cover the bum while also incorporating a fabric that feels as if it lifts and tucks you in. I’m in love with the lightly padded tube top to give a little extra curve to my 34A cup. 

Onto my next choice, this purplelicious bikini that feels like it belongs on a Greek goddess. Trimmed with the perfect golden metallic touch, this two piece set is bound to garner some attention when you hit the beach. It also has just enough coverage to make you feel confident and beautiful. The shade of purple is heavenly. It’s a 10 out of 10 in my book!

I’ve always loved everything light blue. My next two piece set is reminiscent of the color of the Caribbean Sea. Topped off with a fabulous trim, it’s the perfect bikini for women at midlife and beyond. It covers just the right amount of skin. The fabric is a beautiful quality that feels like gives you the perfect support for the tummy and tush. My final selection was a bit more risqué. But who can resist a gorgeous sun kissed yellow orange bikini set with a matching mesh top? I’m a big believer in wearing what makes you feel beautiful. It’s not about showing a perfect body any longer. I’ll leave that to the 20 year olds. It’s more about showing attitude and confidence, scars and all! That’s the beauty of age! With my 62 years on this planet, I’ve racked up a whole lotta confidence and character by overcoming more than my share of obstacles. After all, who said bikinis belong to 20 year olds?!?
